LOL, I'm not sure there's enough room in one post for my wish list!! There are so many places I would love to go to (or back to), but I think top of my list would be seeing more of this great country of ours - I still haven't done Ayers Rock, NT or WA, so that first. Then bring on the world LOL!!
Hahaha second that Nessa!!! I would love to go to the UK, NZ and Canada but only when the kids are older and I could manage - right now my priority is relaxing beach style holidays, so if I could choose I would go to somewhere like the Cook Islands, Mauritius, Tahiti type locations, or even any of the QLD islands when it's not too hot and not too touristy.I am not interested in going to any more south east asian countries though, wont go there anymore. I'm a bit of a 5 star girl as John would say LOL.

#1 would be Cambodia, to see the Angkor Wat temple
#2 would be Africa - more specifically Kenya (for the elephants!) or Zinbabwe (to see Victoria Falls)
#3 ... anywhere snowy where I can go skiing!
Oh there are lots! But that may be because i haven't been to many places.
Lets see...
1. firstly i would love to go to the UK (so does DH)
2. i would love to visit Italy
3. Germany
4. Fiji
5. Hawaii
6. Tahiti (was going to go there for our honeymoon, but was a bit too expensive)
7. USA & Canada
oh everywhere!
the furthest Ive been is Melbourne! We are going to bali next year so i am pretty sure i will have the travel bug after that and want to go everywhere.
1. Scotland (to see Dh's family)
2. France, Italy
3. New Zealand
4. Canada
5. Tasmania
6. Gold Coast
7. Darwin
8. Japan
9. everywhere else!
Okay !
1# Rome, Florence and everywhere else in Italy!
2# Czech Republic
3# The rest of Europe( France, UK, and all the other spots!)
4# Broome and Ningaloo Reef WA
5# Canada - again! Montreal, Toronto and skiing
6# Islands - Cook, Mauritius, Vanuatu - not fussy!
Realistically - working on DH for Port Douglas again this year!
1 - Ireland - have to go there and visit where a good part of my family came from
2 - Great Britain - ditto for family and also I have a real thing for castles
3 - Sweden/Norway - got a real thing for Vikings, so really want to get to some of those Museums
4 - Northern QLD - have never quite gotten there
my #1 spot to see is Kathmandu...
After that it's anywhere I can stay in a village, no hotels for me...
Fiji
Bali
Hawaii
Mauritius
Cook Islands
Las Vegas
and sooo many more places.....
I feel lucky though as i have already been overseas 3 times and seen many countries.I feel pretty lucky to have been able to do that.
onsen (hot spring) in Japan
Korea for shopping
Thailand's islands....
I love Asia,....
Scandinavia for the cross country skiing...............
Islands in the pacific for their beauty, the relaxation and the people
Canada
I guess I"m lucky in that I've already been to a lot of places too, my thoughts now revolve around "where can I go skiing", "where can I sit and do nothing where it is warm" and "where can a take a baby"!!!!
There are sooo many places...
Wish List ATM:
*Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia - I agree with Leash - Angor Wat would be pretty special!
*Mexico - ah..margharitas
*China - Mongolia - Great Wall & Terracotta Warriors in China and sleeping in a yurt in Mongolia...
*Russia - would have gone already but visas are tricky to get
*Egypt - pyramids, diving on the Red Sea Riviera..
*Morroco for the markets and crazy sounds, sights and smells.
*Ethiopia for the food - yum!
*Croatia - I really want to go to Dubrovnic and sail around the coast there (Opal coast?? what is it called??)
*Venezuala - I want to do the trek up to Angel Falls
*Alaska - I love snow!
*Prince Edward Island in Canada - Home of Anne of Green Gables..
OMG, I have so many more...there not enough time! (or money!!)
PS Leash, Vic Falls is awesome but go to Zambia side to see them, Zimbabwe is not really very good country to visit right now, Robert Mugabe is dictator there and not a nice man. Zambia is 2nd world and very politically stable & safe. And Kenya is great for wildlife viewing, much cheaper than neighbouring Tanzania where I lived.
Greek islands are number one for me at the moment![]()
1) The Ultimate Holiday: Zig-Zagging across the USA. Starting in one corner, we would travel, let's say, from Seattle to San Diego, then continue north-south, west, south-north, west, until we reach either Florida or New England. It would take in all the major centres - all the place-names you hear about and read about. I'll probably go to a google-maps and figure it out one day, like I did for 2) and 3) below...
2) New Zealand* - Again. We spent two weeks in January 2000 over there, mostly in the South, but also in the North for a few days. Next time, it would be a full circuit of both islands, starting in Christchurch and ending in Auckland.
3) Tasmania.
DW has one also, which includes 10 countries: 5 of her choice (incl Turkey, Egypt, Greece, and Italy) and 5 of mine (incl the UK, Russia, Skandinavia, and Germany). I would also like to make a similar zig-zag across this great country, in time enough to catch the footy finals and music festivals around the place, or perhaps, instead of the 10 countries, we make a zig-zag across Europe - through the UK, and then instead of zig-zagging, perhaps a spiral from Calais, going north or south, and finishing in Paris or Berlin
:dream:

If given a change to go to a holiday trip, and i have the money to spend for it, i would probably go to venice, italy. Just love it there.
