I have just started taking Genrx cialopram (cipramil alternative) yesterday and I am concerend about the effect it may have on my son, whom I am breastfeeding. I queried this with my Dr and he had a quick look and said it 'should' be fine. It didn't appear as though he thought it would be a problem but I have since read a few things that say otherwise.
Does anyone know what the effect would be or know who I could contact to find out more information? I take a 20mg tablet at around 7am before I feed my son and then don't feed him again until around 2:30 - 3pm (he has formula at lunch). The stupid thing is the tablet is for anxiety and it is making me more anxious worrying about the effect it could have on him!!
