    Hey Hollo - congratulations mate!!

Definitely got a bigger belly - still feels bigger. Bloating is really common in the first tri I think. All the best for a H&H pg!

That early it will be bloating. I've seen it happen to lots of ladies on BB and some of them then get worried when their "bump" seems to be getting smaller later on. The real bump shows up later on.

yes, got very big, very quick this time round. Had to buy maternity pants at 8wks, but I was wondering about bloating too because in the past month although I still need maternity clothes, I dont feel I have grown much at all. It was all wks 7-13 so far and now its slowed down. But baby is in there moving about, so alls fine.

I definately feel bloated but i've also been eating a bit to try and ease the sick feelings. My tops are fitting tighter, up high just below my bb's as well as around my pot belly. I actually recognised this the day i did my hpt (before i'd done it), i just thought i'd shrunk my top in the wash. hehe The fun of it all...

I've been a bit worried about my belly in the last couple of days - it was HUGE from very early on, and it's definitely still there, but it seems to be not quite as big, and looks like it's moving upwards. I'm trying not to obsess about it, but it was very reassuring when it looked huge, and to have it go down a bit is a little worrying.

Has anyone had the bloating lessen around 12-13 weeks?

Hey girls, This is baby number 3 for me. Depending on how many babies you have already you do tend to show early according to my midwife. I'm only 5 weeks and I'm looking like I'm like 3 1/2 months pregnant. I asked her if this is normal she said usually baby 2-3 makes you show a ltitle faster.
Now, bloating can be number one cause for everything I don't think you have anything to worry about even if its buba making you grow.

I have been trying to get rid of my belly since having DD 2 years ago, got it back to a good size but now even if it is bloating, or me putting on a bit of extra weight or whatever i am gonna blame it on the baby LOL!! gonna wear tight tops and say oh its just the baby. why not!??! :-)

Sounds like you've got a good excuse Hollo, Congratulations on your pregnancy. Bloatings pretty normal and you may find that it doesn't disappear that bubs fills in the space as the bloating goes, well that's what happened to me!

OMG, yes me too! totally bloated! This is my first bub and am 7 weeks at the mo and my jeans and work pants are sooooo tight on me, to the point it makes me feel sick (I sit there at work and undo all the buttons haha)

I had to buy some maternity pyjamas just so I could have a comfy sleep - looks like its new work pants next!
