    Bleed after DTD

    Hello,
Just wondering if anyone else has had a bleed in late pregnancy after DTD? It wasn't bright red and only happened after the first wipe on the loo. I was also wondering if it could be my plug that came away, bubs is still happily moving away and I haven't had any contractions.
    Thank you
    Kel

i am wondering if it is the start of your plug coming away. Mine did this from 37 weeks... lucky you got to dtd ... DH wouldnt touch me when he saw what was coming out lol.
I lost it gradually over 2 weeks on wiping

The cervix has lots of blood vessels that can be easily irritated during intercourse when pregnant. It is not uncommon to have a small bleed but if you are concerned or if it continues then you should get checked out. Particularly if you think it may be your plug.

It is very common to have a small bleed after DTD in late pregnancy. If it is only a little spotting and it stops quickly then there is nothing to worry about

I had this happen when I was around 35 weeks, my dr said it was probably just a burst blood vessel and advised us to be a little more gentle lol
    Everything was fine...

Thank you everyone, normally I would have been scared but I wasn't just curious.
    LOL about being more gentle
