Angry Braxton Hicks for hours - Now I'm in pain

    Hi there All

Last night I had pretty full on Braxton Hicks for a few hours - I called the hospital and they assured me that this can happen and to come in if they become uncomfortable.

Well I soldiered on and this morning I can barely walk - I feel like I have been doing situps all night - all the muscles in my lower abdomen are killing me and feel like I have permanent stitch feeling on both sides.

Anyone else felt this way - my stomach was still rock hard at 3am this morning and so annoying and uncomfortable (but not painful iykwim)

    TIA

    Hey there Mel

No rush - I've given this baby strict instructions to not even think about making an appearance for at least another 18weeks - lol - there's no keeping us happy.

At this rate I'm happy to go over the 40 weeks - having had an early one last time I'd like to see what it feels like to hold a baby that weighs over 2.5kgs....

I've got a feeling you're going today anyway - go for a good brisk walk and jump DH's bones - lol - last thing you wanna do hey??

    yeah pretty much...
and DH is at work anyway... I'd have to take matters into my own hands.. pmsl

I'd like a baby under 4kgs.. that would be nice.. LOL

Hi Dianna. You could always just go in for a check up. Just to put your mind at ease.

Still there Gudism. It'll happen soon!

If it's still happening and you are getting pain I'd be getting it checked out. I didn't have anything like that throughout my pregnancy. The only time I had anything that went for hours it was labour - but that was at 38.4.

I use to get this after i started drink RLT... all those practice contractions were like doing hours and hours of situps....
If it just feel like muscle pain i would say its fairly normal, but if you are worried go and get a check up just to put your mind at ease if nothing else

I thought for sure i would have abs of steel after giving birth, but no such luck i have a pot of jelly instead!!!
