    Talking Pure Joy of Movements...

    Arvo All,

Any one who has read my posts over the last how ever many posts would know that I was very impatient to feel my bub move - and it has happened!! Last Wed was the first feelings and it has gotten bigger and better since then!

IT IS PURE JOY!! Not to mention a bit stressfull when bubs goes a bit quite and you start to wonder...

I was sitting in bed last night just rubbing my tummy (fav past time of late!!) when I got a kick that I could feel on the outside!! I was in tears it was so excititng! But as soon as DH put his hand on tummy - bubs went all quiet!! I hope he gets to feel it soon!

Anyway I am just bursting with pure joy that I had to share!!

    Love to all
    Kate

How exciting hun! Settle in for the daily ride from now on! They will get harder and easier to feel with each day!!!! I was the same and now have movements on and off all day and night! Such a wonderful feeling even when it's a foot in a rib or elbow in the bladder!

Yep, baby's movement is my absolute favourite part of pregnancy. After DD1 I would lie with hand on my belly for years....pretty sad. But I just missed the feeling so much. I am so looking forward to the movement. ITs' actually one of the things I will be saddest about when we decide we've had enough kids, never feeling that again! xo

    It's amazing isn't it?

Don't be surpised if your DH rarely feels it though. DS used to tease my DH by going completely still every time DH put his hand on my belly He's still a cheeky bugger too

    Congratulations. Its so wonderful

Dont worry, your Dh will feel it soon enough. I have been feeling good movement for 2 weeks now and for the very first time dh felt it last night. Our bub seemed to stop when he came near also!!

Yay Kate me too! You'll recall that we were both having late starters in the kicking domain but I'm also thrilled that my little boy is now kicking up a storm. It's not all the time but just when I think "awww he hasn't kicked me for a whole day".. there he goes!

I put this in the other thread but last night he was particuarly active all of a sudden so I told DP this and he put his head to my tummy and surely enough got a little kick in the ear

He got another feel later that night and we also saw one from the outside which takes my breath away - simply amazing! Am loving this part SO MUCH!

    Enjoy

I'm 25 weeks but sometimes bubs has her foot or bum pushed out and if i give it a lil poke or tickle she'll go bonkers and attack me from the inside. It's hilarious to watch my stomach move the way it does when she fights back, so moral of my story is if you feel something a lil hard (ie foot) give it a gentle poke or tickle and she might get moving, even better get DP to do it and he'll see/feel.
Good luck and congrats on feeling bubs
