    Question Less Expensive Toddler Seat.

We are currently looking into getting Charlie a toddler seat, he is only 16 months but he is off the charts in height etc & just seems to be soooo uncomfortable in his current seat (Safe n Sound Merridian). It's a task to get him in & out sometimes as he seems wedged in.

So we are looking for a toddler seat, we know the Maxi Rider is by far the most popular, however at over $400 it's not really an option for us at the moment I've always wanted one but it's really an expense we cant afford.

So my question is....does anyone know of any good toddler seats suitable for a 16 month old that don't cost my eniter weeks wage LOL.

I looked in Target today as the sale started & they has some but they dont use a 5 point safety harness & as long as my bottom points to the ground there is no way my son will be without at 5 point harness at this age....he'll just have to stay wedged in until we can afford a maxi rider if there is no better options.

GO TO TARGET , their sale starts today and there is a seat call HIPOD SENATOR , its an 8-26 kg booster seat , similar to maxi rider ...
it was an option for us and so was the maxi rider , but we ended up with a safe and sound HI LINER with an anti submarining clip as a maxi rider and the senator were way to wide/big for my car ...

If you have a small car try the seats in there first ... i have a rav 4 and they were just to bulky , a HI LINER is cheaper but its got a whatchamacallit thing .... the things that keep the seat attached to a car , anchor point !!!! so its safe but you do need an extra harness ...
