DS drinks 3 bottles of milk a day plus he sips water throughout the day and usually drinks about 50ml. However the last 3 days he has just started refusing the water. He won't let me put his cup anywhere near him. I have tried different cups and I've also tried adding a bit of juice. But it's not the taste I don't think because he doesn't even get it into his mouth most of the time. He's eating okay so it's not like he has got a sore mouth.
This isn't really serious advice - but have you considered bathwater?? My DS is generally not interested in normal water, but is very keen on his bathwater...
We think we have got to the bottom of it! Lately poor Bubba has had a nose full of dry crusty brown things! Today DH managed to let him clean his nose out properly and said it was really blocked at the top of his nose. Once he had cleaned it out properly he started drinkng again! Poor thing couldn't breathe properly with his mouth closed ! Or that's what we are guessing anyway. So we have learnt something there then.....!
