    I dressed myself today.

This is a thread in honour of all the BB children who like to dress themselves.
    Yasin

This is Yasin's favourite outfit although on cold days he likes to put his black tights on underneath the shorts.
It's all favourites so on the rare days that they are all clean at the same time he is thrilled lol.

Please post a picture or description of your little one's efforts.

Don't have a photo but DS1 likes to put everything on back to front just to see my reaction. ROFL

Will try and get a photo

I saw the thread title and had to laugh!!

My mum used to make me wear a badge (which I did wear proudly) that read "I got dressed all by myself today". I used to be a fan of pink polka dot leggings with red stripy tops that were inside out and back to front.

Mum has a picture of me when I was 3 - completely naked but wearing her boots and one of Dad's ties. I was playing the xylophone on the toilet at the time the picture was taken! I was an odd child....

PS - He is such a cutie!!!!

It's not quite the same but this is a picture of me when I was little. I refused to wear a party dress to my friends party and I chose to go in a purple catsuit and a string of pearls! https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...60&ppuser=5001 My Mum said there was no point arguing with me - hmmm, wonder where the kids get it from...

Here is my little poser in the outfit he picked today. He absolutely refused to pick a jumper too, so luckily we don't have to venture out in the cold! The orange pants are a size 0!! He still fits in them as 3/4 pants!!

Too funny guys! Great photos. Riv's not really old enough to dress himself, but he does have blue icing up his nose today...

Very cute photos, people! Astrid, did your DD select a freezer bag for her handbag? (Or is it just a very square-looking one?)

It was a toiletries bag that came with little bottles. She is a bag lady in the making

Euan is not old enough to dress himself, or to complain too stringently about what he wears (although he'd go butt naked if he had a choice), but I think there should be a spin-off to this thread called 'my daddy dressed me today'.

DP has a wonderful dressing philosophy. He just grabs whatever is on top, regardless of whether they match. So that could mean a tan and red striped t-shirt, with multi-coloured polka dot pants. Or a turquoise and grey t-shirt with brown and orange cotton pants. Thank goodness we are in the tropics and only wear minimal layers, I'd hate to think what he'd come up with if there was a jacket or shoes involved.

He is actually quite sartorially switched on, he just does it to sh*t me (and out of laziness).

Suse I think thats a generic Male thing..... DH put on Matilda a simpsons T-shirt to go with her pink leggings and a long denim with orange swirls skirt today to go to the shops... oh & she had on red gum books with giraffes on them. So when I just took her out with me she had on pink track suit pants with the denim skirt with orange swirls, a black long sleeve top with a hot pink singlet over the top.... oh and 2 plats please mummy. She was going with me to pick summer dresses $$ provided by her Oma... she chose a black & white striped & spotty number and insisted on 2 sizes too big, than choose some pink, black & grey dunlop volleys to go with it.... oh her style is going to rock hehehehe

That sounds like a pretty cool combo Christy! But then, I am not the best person to judge, as one of my favourite outfits in my twenties consisted of purple and black striped stockings with silver boots and either a black PVC mini with purple suspenders and fishnet top, or turquoise silk cheongsam with thigh high slits. Oh, and did I mention the black eyeliner and silver glitter eyeshadow? Or the purple hair?

I had obviously reverted to my inner toddler and should never have been allowed to dress myself.
