Anyone else awake at 5:00 - AM!

Has anyone else got a bright and sparkly baby at 5 AM? Bubba man decided he didn't want to sleep any longer thismorning so I'm up - typing - having left the bedroom (to give DH some sleep) done the nappy change, made myself a tea etc etc.

What do YOU do at that hour when they just don't want to go back to sleep? Anyone successful at getting bubs back to sleep at that hour?

I hear you!!! My DS has a habit of doing the same thing.About every second night.

I usually get him up for an hour or so to burn some energy and then put him back to bed. He'll usually sleep for a hour or two more after this.

    It's so annoying, isn't it!

the last 2 mornings my day started at 4am.. Today not so early but I won't go into the night I had to deal with to not have to get up when it was dark

Sounds like us too. Ela wakes at 2am almost every 2nd night and doesn't sleep til about 4am and awakes at 5-5.30 all bright eyed.
I think she is currently teething with some bottom molars coming through so i really can't angry at her.
They tell me...it's not easy being mum! But then again we all want more kids!!

Well, shortly after getting up, changing the nappy etc, my Bubba Man did a #2 - so that was probably the reason for the wake-up. I'm considering offering him the potty and see if he wants to go back to sleep afterwards. We'll see

DS wakes up every morning between 4:30am & 6am - but I find if I feed him, then bring him int bed with me, that he will sleep for another couple of hours (usually until 6:30-7:30am).
