    3 Month Growth Spurt???

Help! My usually gorgeous boy has turned into an unsettled, feeding, non sleeping nightmare! For the last few weeks he was sleeping from around 7 to 1:30 and then to 5 and now he is waking at 12, 3, 6 and so on. He is 11 weeks old and this has been going on for the last 5 days. He isn't usually whingy and doesn't cry a lot but lately he is so fussy. Is anyone else going through this and does anyone know how long these "growth spurts" last? I'm walking around with the biggest bags under my eyes and am losing confidence in myself!!!

Yes, they do go through another growth spurt at this age and there is no definition of how long it should last for. But bare in mind that he may not go back to the way he was before either - babies change their habits all the time, which is really hard for us to decipher them I know, but you have to bare with it - if you follow his cues and feed him when he wants feeding and put him to sleep when he's sleepy, then you can't go wrong. You're doing great!

First of all sending lot's of your way & it sounds like you are doing a great job.
It does sound like your DS is going through a growth spurt & for your sake I hope it settles soon. But be aware as Trillian said it may not, my DS feeds every 2-3 hours all the time normally. As long as you are getting plenty of wet nappies & he is putting on weight he is very normal. Check out Barb's article on the study of b/f you might find it helpful, here is the link https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...stfeeding.html
As for those bags I would suggest if possible to sleep at least once during the day with DS. Goodluck & HTH
