I'm new and an hoping for VBA2C at King Edward in December

    Hi All

This is my 4th pregnancy. My daughter who is now 10 was born naturally and i have had 2 subsequent c-sections. My 1st was in May 2002 due to foetal distress at 37 weeks prior to going into labour. Unfortunately my daughter was born with undiagnosed birth defects and only lived for 3 days. My 2nd caesar in May 2003 was due to what I call sheer terror. I just wanted this baby out safe and well and as soon as possible. I was blessed with a healthy baby boy although he was in ICU for 8 hours as he had fluid on his lungs due to his early (37 weeks scheduled delivery). I have since regretted my decision to not attempt a VBAC that time round. Well it has been 5 years and I pregnant again, yippeee. This time I am feeling 100% confident in my ability to birth this baby naturally. I have also been lucky enough to be referred to the NBAC Clinic at King Edward. The midwives there are absolutely very positive and reassuring. I am hoping that by introducing myself to you all, I will be able to seek your support when needed, and to hopefully offer my support to you all when I can.

Hi thinkpink and welcome to Bellybelly.

Im sorry to hear about your second baby but its great to see you back at it again so soon. I really believe that you can go for another natural birth and i really hope that all goes well for you...i believe that you will do it...you can do it!!
