    impossible to dress

My 21 month old will not let me dress her... When I eventually do get her out of her PJs (with many tears and "Noooo's") she will then take her clothes off at some point during the day and we have to go through the whole process again. Then come bath time I can't get what ever she is wearing off!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand this is *fairly* normal behaviour, but does anyone have any tips to help - I hate doing things with force and her theatrical tantrums are waking my 6 month old which is the most frustrating part..

p.s. I have tried letting her choose her own outfit but she just says No to everything.. I am really looking forward to the warmer weather, at least I don't have to worry about her being cold..

Can you dress her when she's distracted? In front of the tv or something?

Lots of tickling and good girls and singing while just getting on with it? Giving her a sticker? Letting her watch herself in the mirror while you dress her?

I don't have the same problem, but I just wanted to encourage you. I can imagine how frustrating it must be, my 23 month old frustrates me to no end when he wakes his brother!

I find dressing them in front of telly helps alot. DD will get dressed but insists on changing outfits 5 times a day and/or stripping down to her nappy no matter where we are....
