    Bad time to start?

I know you can tandem feed and you can have babies very close but I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to get pregnant again soon. I always wanted to start trying around Dec this year so there would be a 2 year gap at least between bubs but because DD is still exclusively breastfed and not very mobile she is still like a little baby.

Should I wait till she's more independent (of course I don't mean lots but YKWIM!). I would love to start trying soon but DH thought it might be too much for me being pregnant ( I was sick last time) and still having DD rely on me for feeds so much. I'm not sure - anyone else been in same situation?

I would wait, but that's coming from someone who wants a 3-4 year gap! lol.

I guess the good thing is your DD will be nearly 1 year older when the next one comes along, depending on how long it takes to get pregnant, so she should be more independent then.

    Good luck!

Maybe post in the BFing threads, you'll find there's a few women there who have/are tandem feeding, and will be able to give their advice Good luck.

Do what you feel is right, your a mum and amazingly no matter how sick you get in pregnancy you'll be able to handle it! I spent the first 15 weeks with my head in the toilet bowl but still managed to keep the monkeys here under control, the house was clean and dinner was on the table every night! I've also managed to cope with 2 colds that have both lasted over 3 weeks and didn't bat an eyelid. Mind you hubby did the occasional vac or washing fold to help out while I was sick! The strength you have is an amazing talent and I'm sure you'd be fine to start trying!
    Best of Luck!!!!
