HOw much food is too much???

I just want to ask people how much they consume on a daily basis just out of curiosity. Having not had any MS, I can't say I've really been put off foods nor do I have any specific cravings either. I do feel I generally eat well and have not been pigging out on tim tams etc. I make sure I get some cereal and milk in the morning, a yogurt and some raw nuts for morning tea, a sandwich for lunch, an apple, maybe some strawberries, dinner (standard...pasta, chicken and veg etc) and maybe a hot cup of milo at night with some bickies. I haven't been eating excessively yet the weight gain has been phenomenal!! I don't look fat so to speak but Im 24 weeks and I reckon I've gained around 12 kilos already!!! And I've still got so much more to go....what have people generally been eating? I'm starting to think no matter what I do the weight's going on no matter what!

I ate fairly well just as you have been doing & put on around 25kg with my second pregnancy! It was scary when I looked at the scales but to look at me there was no excess weight anywhere except for in my belly! I think some people are prone to put on more when they are pregnant. Don't forget also you have baby, placenta, amniotic fluid, double the normal amunt of blood plus any fluid you're retaining so that all counts for quite a bit too
