    Questions about my morphology scan

So i had my morph scan this arvo. I don't have the report yet but do have photos with info on them that i am curious about.

I have another low lying placenta. I had one with DS but by 32 weeks it had moved well out of the way. Anyway it says it's 4.3cms away from cervix. Is this an ok distance if it were to not move?

It says my cervix length is 3.5cms. Is this good or bad?

    What does BPD stand for?

    What does orbits stand for?

The heart rate was 156bpm at 11 weeks and then 134bpm at 19 weeks, is it ok for it do slow down so much?

    Thanks!

I was told that if the placenta was more than 3cms away from cervix, not considered an issue for monitoring as they grow up with the growing uterus.

Dunno about the other bits, but the heartrate is fine if between around 120 and up to 180 if bubs is really active at the time. At this gestation 120 - 150 is the "normal" end. At 12 wks mine was 169 bpm and at morphology 139 bpm.

Hope that helps a little bit!

Orbits I think that is the eyes. The heart rate I wouldn't be worried about either as Sami said it can very within minutes, and it's within the normal range.

Sorry not sure on the rest.

Thanks girls. I was mainly worried about the placental position. But i have emailed my midwife and she said it was fine and no need for a follow up scan.
