5 years on the 23rd Sept

I can't believe tomorrow marks 5 years since we held and said goodbye to our tiny baby girl.....


My little Katy Rose was never destined for this earth she suffered from anencephaly one of the worst and 100% fatal NTD's we made the heart breaking choice to induce my pg @ 21 weeks..Katy was born at 1.10pm weighing a tiny 7 oz and approx 8-9inchs she was perfect in everyway...in all the sadness her bday brings there is one thing that makes me smile, the thing I remember clearly is being able to laugh with the minister and counselor that she would never have been a dancer she had the biggest feet they were so huge compared to her tiny body...and her hands were tiny miniatures of mine..

I miss you baby girl my heart breaks when I look at your little brother you should be here teaching him everything, instead you guard us from above

just was a having a blue moment...when I wrote this thread, I think it stems from being lonely as JAse is working very long shifts ATM...too much time alone makes the mind wander

my beautiful little boy listened to Katy's song (fly) with me and wiped my tears gave me cuggies and kissed my eyes, I am so blessed to have him in my life
