    disappearing bump

ok, i noticed about a week ago that my bump was getting quite big (not massive but big). anyway for the last couple of days i really dont think it is as big as it was. i know i shouldnt worry but does this happen? i know and remember from last pregnancy that it looked small in morning and got bigger by the end of the day but i am comparing it to a week ago now. what up with that?

Being prganant with my first I'm just guessing but maybe last week you were retaining more fluid?
I also think I look bigger in the evenings...maybe its just the way bubs is lying?

I was worrying about the same thing at the same time as you. Mine looked like it started to grow and then it just stopped and never seemed to be getting bigger and sometimes looked smaller! It freaked me out but I think it was just coz I was really bloated early on and so the bloating went down and then the real baby bump took over So don't stress, it's normal.

It might have just been bloating.

You usually are bloated in the first few weeks/ months, so thats probably all it was. Don't worry, bump should be along soon!

It could have been bloating early on, that's really common in the first trimester. Usually in second trimester it settles a bit and things kind of "fall into place"

There's lots of readjusting of internal bits going on in there, but baby is still quite small so the size of your bump early on has more to do with gas and what your intestines are doing. Try not to worry it's all good!

Mine used to come and go depending on how I stood and how much exercise I had been doing.
