I know this is probably perfectly normal - but I just want to check other people's experiences to be sure.
I only started feeling movements for the first time over the last week or two . I love it! I went from feeling movement very rarely, to everyday pretty quickly - and yesterday bubs had a very active day. I felt movements on and off all day until the evening when he seemed to quieten down. After yesterday, I suppose I was expecting more of the same, but I've had very few movements today. I was just wondering if it's normal for bubs to be so active one day, then so quiet the next?
Yup! I find that Twobob has a day or two of 'rest' every now and then where he/she'll move a lot more infrequently. Usually it's non-stop during the day, so on these quiet days I make sure I concentrate on feeling the movements at least a few times to put my mind at ease. Remember if you are worried, a really cold drink and a lie down usually sets bubbas off
Yeah normal - I find it bubs has a big day then the day after will be a bit quiet - kinda like they are resting because they have had a big day IFYWIM??
Though now I am nearly 31 weeks I get movements all day every day and night!! It gets stronger and stronger!
Dont worry and enjoy feeling bubs move!!
Perfectly normal. It gets less like that when you get further along though.
If you get worried have an icy cold drink (like a slurpy) then lie down. You are bound to feel bubs move. Eating chocolate also used to have the same effect for me as did coffee (only had that in the last few weeks of pregnancy though). Getting your partner to blow a raspberry on the bump can also get a movement happening.
sterla- i was just thinking the same thing! blip went crazy yesterday and is fairly quiet today...preg. minds think alike...and as for the slurpee, they work...maybe thats why blip was crazy yesterday....
staya- PMSL. i should SO get DF to do that now...it sound like bubs would be like "Oi dont do that!" *kicks DF in face*
Completely normal for that stage of pg. Do you know if you have an anterior placenta at all? If you do, if bubs moved to a different position, you may not feel as much movements either due to the placenta absorbing most of it kwim?
i feel movement pretty much throughout the day, then some days I will not feel hardly anything. I just assume it is bubs having a rest. I think for how many weeks we are it is perfectly normal.
