Red face Crampy Feelings like period pain?

Sal has been having crampy, stabbing pains in her lower belly for the last few days. We went to the Mercy hospital on Tuesday for ultrasound/exam after she had some bleeding on Sunday night and Tuesday and everything was alright with bubs but she still has the same crampy, ouchy pain she had on Tuesday. Should we be concerned? Both obstetricians were concerned about the pain in conjunction with her bleeding, but once it was confirmed that the bleeding was coming from the cervix and not from the placenta/uterus they said everything was fine.
Should we be going back to the Obs or is it just part of getting bigger and heavier and having baby sitting down low and putting pressure on her lower belly? Wondering if she could have pulled a muscle? She says that the pain is not always in the same place though, which makes me think it's baby.....
First time Mum's, you know, we worry about everything
    Looking for other people's experiences.....

Hopefully its just bubba getting bigger & his kicks!
If you are worried give your OB/MW a call.

Are they constant pains or on and off?
    Could they be Braxton Hicks?
Apparently they aren't supposed to hurt, but mine with Darcy always did. Took my breath away in fact.
I have been feeling the same feeling the last couple of days. Comes on, gets stronger and goes from between 40seconds to a minute (at a guess). Sometimes in groups of a few, sometimes random.

I think if the Dr said not to worry, then you can safely assume that it is just the effects of growing and stretching.

Last weekend I had crippling pains in my lower abdomen, but it was just ligament pain from the baby growing (and too much activity!). I went to see the Dr and he said that pregnancy is a time when women experience all sorts of unusal pains because there is so much happening to our organs, muscles and (pelvic) bones. They really only worry if there's bleeding accompanying pain, but if that has been checked and cleared, then you just have to trust that everything will be fine.

Def. go see the Dr again if there's more bleeding though.

Thanks girls, just needed some reassurance.....
Seems to be getting better the last day or two, so probably just growing/stretching pains.
