Hello Everyone,
just wanted to let everyone know (especially us Europeans..:-)) that Pampers is available at selected Coles supermarkets!!
I found this nappy the best, it's really thin but still holds a ton, doesn't leak, and it even looks cute!!
I've used Pampers in Europe and it is just great!!
Have a great day to everyone!
Hi again,
I went onto the Coles home shopping website and after you select your suburb,- based on post code - , under baby products you can search and select nappies. Pampers is on this list, and I didn't pick the Southland store, I've picked the Cheltenham store. So I think if you search your area's Coles, and if you find Pampers online, it must be in your local store as well.
If it's not in your store, you can request specific products to be stocked at your local store, just ask your local Store Manager. If the product is readily available in the market place it will be sourced and stocked.
Cheers.
They are much better than Huggies for sure! Being from the UK, Pampers are a well known brand. We are cloth here 99% of the time but when I went back home for a 3 week holiday I used Pampers and when I went to Brissie for a weeks holiday, I used Huggies. Pampers are definitely better.
Unfortunately you may find that these are not a permanent item in the store. Pampers are not part of the Coles Baby Line. ( I have just seen the current layout) It is possible that a large amount have been delivered to the Coles Warehouse in error (Meant to go somewhere else) Any items that come in like that are still sold within certain stores until they run out of the stock.
And unfortunately I know for a fact that Pampers have never been a line that is carried, therefore you are unable to request at the store for them to be stocked.
I found an article/post when i googled and it said would be permanent in some stors
below is info i found

No 1 nappy in the UK
Pampers was the very first disposable nappy! Invented in the 1950s by Victor Mills, Pampers has grown to become the largest selling disposable nappy in the UK!
Manufactured to the highest possible standard, Pampers have earned the trust of parents around the world and are now offering this highly popular product range in Australia
Why not in NSW?? Pampers are so much better than Huggies! Hopefully they will take off in Victoria and they will introduce them in other states as well. I am from the Netherlands and we used them when we went over for a holiday; really good fit, very thin, supple (?) and very absorbent!!! It was disappointing having to go back to Huggies...
Hello again,
Yes, I've read that same article/post when I also googled pampers...
I think that they are not only a permanent item, but just this week they now have the big boxes of Pampers and not just the bags of 30's or 40's! Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!
By the way, they were on special in the last couple of weeks but this week they are back at their regular prices..:-((
Cheers.
I was just on ebay looking at disp nappies,
just letting you know there are 2 boxes of Pampers Size 3 (7-13kg)
one box 228 and other box 220, pickup only in Melbourne prices $60 (228) and $58 ( 220)
not sure what the prices are in coles tho, havnt come across them here in , just though id let yaz know
I bought a bunch of packets of Pampers on special at Coles the other week. They're pretty good...but I think Huggies still have the edge with me though, because Huggies have the elasticised waist and the Pampers only have elasticised tabs (my DS is skinny). The Pampers remind me very much of the Woolworths Select nappies actually, which are a very similar design (not printing, the actual nappy). I've been quite happy with the Select nappies too.
But the Pampers stood up to the overnight test easily...so I would happily buy them when on special.
Hi
Pampers are now aviable at Point Cook coles - and YES they are a line that coles will now stock in slected stores - I asked management at the Point Cook coles and they are now a general item for that store and a few in Melbourne West!
Only problem is they do not stock large quanties of new born - they do the rest.
They were on special for $29 last week for over 100!
Hi,
I'm going to give them a try if they've got them here in Geelong. I've always used huggies but pampers are heaps cheaper. Please have them in Geelong.
They have dropped them from the stores in my area (SW Vic). Picked up a pack of 56(?) for just under $6 a month ago during a clearance. They were great at the price, but not worth it at the full price.
