Putting Kane into a MCN for the first time...

Well my MCN's are all washed and ready to go!!!

So how do I stuff it for day use?...

I wont be doing over nights yet, I only have microfibre inserts and boosters..waiting on bamboo ones..

Kane is only an average wetter through the day. Do I use just an insert, or an insert and booster? They are good BG inserts...

His day nap is usually only 2 hrs, so could probably use a MCN for that...

I have 5 different types of nappies to use, but I wanna get the boosting right so I know which ones I like before buying to many...

I would use a booster & insert to start with

go easy on the boosting ,as the more you boost the more likely the fit will be wrong and you will get leaks ... so go 1 insert each nappy during the day and add a booster for day naps and longer trips to the shops/car drives ...

Kane is now in a Green Kids, and his booty looks ADORABLE!!!!

Jodie - we use BumG's and GK during the day - and DS is a big wetter - but I use the microfibre inserts with the BumG (i've never boosted it with anything else and never had a leak) but I put the hemp insert in with the microfibre in the GK for the day use...

He just went to bed in the Green Kids, with microfibre insert and booster...

It was dry (I checked the insert, not just the fleece lining!) before bed. He usually only sleeps 2 hrs, so we'll see how he goes.

Mel, do you prefer the hemp over bamboo?? I thought bamboo was more absorbent, or have I got it round the wrong way again!!??

Bamboo is more absorbent, but I use the hemp during day naps - bamboo on his night sleeps...

WTG jodie honey watch out with hemp too... some kids react with it (like mine) but its rare.

So far I have...

5 BG.. in pink for Little girl
1 hautes
1 baby kanga
1 happy heinys
1 green kids

I have 7 more coming, but cant remember what, some more hautes, maybe more BG's??? ...

I am only buying OSFA for now, it will be easier if I can find some I really like for the kids...

I will be trying the BG on Kane too though!! He can wear pink right???

The green kids was great... Kane just got up with a poo, he only had it on a couple of hours, but the insert and booster were SOAKED, and the lining pooey, but he and his clothes were bone dry!!!

He is now in a baby kanga.... I love the nappy, but not too happy with the fit (snaps) .... We'll see how he goes leak wise...

When I find a great one, Ill get more... But the Green kids gets my stamp, for day use so far anyway...

Ok, I wasn't happy with the baby Kanga because of the snaps.
It was either a little tight or a little loose.
I left it a little loose, (a little tight left marks) and it worked great!!

He had it on 3.5 hrs, ( I know I know, we had visitors and I forgot to change him sooner !) and it was great. Another soaked insert, no booster, and he and clothes are dry!!!

He is now in a Hautes.

Still to come I have 2 more Hautes, and 7 Magic Alls, 2 sm, 2 md, 3lg(for Za).
I wasnt going to get sized ones, but they were 50% from a wonderful BB girl...

Ok, the Hautes last arvo was really good!! A great fit, and nice and trim. Adam liked this one too...

So today I'll try the Happy Heiny and the Bum G's...
