I've just been discharged from hospital after two days of IV antibiotics for an infection probably in my cervix (still awaiting swab cultures) that fortunately did not spread to my uterus or if it did, was eradicated by the meds. The baby seems to be doing fine.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm going to have a good talk with my GP and discuss my options for maintaining good health and minimising the risk of this happening again, but in the meantime, anyone else's experience would be welcomed.
