Question Any correlation between you being prem and your bub being prem??

    Hey All,

A thought just hit me ( I know 1 for the day hehehe)
I was born 3-4 weeks prem and had to go in a humi crib - got me wondering if there is any kind of correlation between if you were prem and if you will be more likely to have a prem or go early??
Probly not but I would be interested to know!

    Cheers

A friend of mine was born at 32 weeks. She's just had her first bub, and she went to 39 weeks.

I was born 3 weeks early. Of course these days 37 weeks is not considered early - it's full term. My bub was born at 38w4d.

I was 8 weeks prem (actually all 6 of us were 7 or 8 weeks prem) and my boys were over due. Older sis kids were all over due as well.
So I dont think it has any correlation.

I too was born at 24 weeks, like Rachel6188, but for such an early birth like that it probably depends on why we were prem as to wether or not out babies are prem.

I was only premature becuase I kicked a hole in my mother's uterus. Whoops. :-S So I am assuming that my baby will stay in to full term.
