I used J&J aswel, I usual just buy what I see. ATM we are using a Dora Shampoo it smells really nice, like a coconut smell.
Little Miss E (13 mths) is getting more hair now, and combined with the beginnings of self feeding that means a lot more food plastered into it. A rinse through with the bath water just isn't cutting it anymore!
Wondering what age you started using shampoo on your little one and what brand do you recommend? From recollection with DD1, I think we used J&J no tears stuff, but I never really liked the smell. I'm thinking something lavender-y would be nice...

We usually use the Coles brand baby wash, smells nice too![]()
I used J&J for when they're babies & DD now uses the dora shampoo because she gets to choose it herself & we cant go past dora!
I cant help but always smell DS's head after I've washed his hair LOL I could just eat him up!!!
I use natural instincts brand (from the chemist) its great! And all natural too![]()
I have had to use shampoo basically from birth for N, and I have been using Gaia one - it smells nice and is more natural than some others.
From memory there is a gorgeous organic one from MOP - pear smell i think (they make adult hair products mainly but i think i saw a kiddies one too) - i will try that once the gaia is finished
I wash my bubbas hair and bodies in The Body Shop bath/shower gel - OMG they smell sooooo good. They like choosing what 'flavour' they will be (mmmm mango) - DELICIOUS, and a little bit goes a long way.
DS has sensitive skin so I use Aromababy or Baby Sebamed.
I use Gaia too MD. DD's mass of baby hair never fell out so i have washed it pretty much forever!
Smells lovely, and all natural. It is expensive, but i am still on the $10 bottle, 13 months later.
Ohhh i would never use J&J or any supermarket brands. For my girls i buy mine from health food store - Alchemy...... $11.00 for 225mls - you need the size of a 5c piece. No nasties or sulphates....doesnt create a grime ring around your bath either......
Aromababy bath wash here. I wouldn't touch any supermarket stuff either.. full of nasty chemicals.
Where do you get the aromababy/gaia? Health food shop, pharmacy, online?
I got Gaia in a pharmacy MD, but boutique baby shops often have those ranges. Also can get online. Is it wierd we are conversing in two places?! lol
I get it at the pharmacy. Pretty sure you could get it online too. I've tried Gaia - I found it dried out DS's skin. Haven't tried it on DD, we were given aromababy as a present, and I've kept using it.
Gaia is pretty easy to find, most pharmacies have it and so do some of the large supermarkets now, I see.
For Aromababy, the best thing is to go to their website...they have a comprehensive list of stockists so you can pick one close to you. I don't know if it's just me but I just don't see it as often as I used to...that's why I've gone with Baby Sebamed for the moment (but I do use the Gaia detangler which is lovely, I've never used the Gaia shampoo).
MD we use Gaia here too and love it. Woolworths up here stocks it now but I normally get it at the chemist.
I used baby shampoo on DD1 til she was about 4. She didn't have much hair, so I didn't worry too much.
I think DD2 would've been about 18 months, but she had alot more hair.
They use the J&J kids shampoo now. Strawberry tangle free one.
