Is HCG too low for 5w3d?

Hi all...just looking for some reassurance or something, got results of my first BT today and my HCG level was at 571 for 5w3d?

I'm pretty sure that my EDD is correct...LMP was 13/9/08 and we used a OPK that showed positive on 27/9 and 28/9.

Thankyou for any help you can give me...I've been reading about HCG of other women and mine just seems very low!

Sweety check out the suggested levels here:

For those of you who are interested, or are having HCG monitoring, here are the suggested reference ranges:

Weeks Post LMP / Approximate HCG

    3 - 4w: 9 - 130
    4 - 5w: 75 - 2,600
    5 - 6w: 850 - 20,800
    6 - 7w: 4,000 - 100,200
    7 - 12w: 11,500 - 289,000
    12 - 16w: 18,300 - 137,000
    16 - 29w: 1,400 - 53,000
    29 - 41w: 940 - 60,000

These should be used as a guide only. HCG levels double approximately every 48 hours during early normal pregnancy and you should always discuss your results with your Doctor if you have any concerns.

So you are somewhere between 5 and 6 weeks? Remember this is a suggestion only. Many women start off low and have successful pregnancies, but unfortunately some with low hcg's don't have the same success. Really what matters is that your hcg is doubling nicely.

Have an ultrasound if you are concerned, and good luck!

V-Love sorry if my results scared you! Mine were really high though.

My bloods were done at 4w3d and my hCG was 1246, underneath the result is the reference ranges

Weeks after LMP - hCG levels
    4 - 20-950
    5 - 50-15000
    6 - 200-150000
    7-8 - 1200-250000
    9-10 - 1400-170000
    11-14 - 5000-140000

Lower levels are seen in ectopic pregnancy and spontaneous abortion.
Increased levels may be seen with hydatidiform moles
These results are from a pathology report.
