    Could it mean good news?

I had a blood test done on Friday arvo, as I'm fairly sure I could be UTD, although not 100% positive! Rang up today to see if I could get the test results, and the receptionist said that my doctor has requested that I make an appointment to see her. Does this mean that, yes I am, and she just wants to discuss it and give me a referral to an OB, or.... ??
DF is positive it means I am UTD, but I don't want to get my hopes up too much because I don't want to end up being disappointed on Wednesday when I have my appointment. I just want to know now, one way or the other, so I can stop worrying about it and flipping between yes/no!! And spend my instead thinking of how to tell my parents.... I already know they aren't exactly going to be thrilled about it

Wednesday seems like such a long time away...

    Hi SS,
You could do a HPT first thing in the morning tomorrrow. Sounds like you are UTD, though! for you. Hope it's the result you are looking for. How frustrating to have to wait! I would have thought your dr would give you the result over the phone, though.

Belle, I did two HPT's last week, about Tuesday/Wednesday I think it was, and they were both positive. Still can't help that little thought in the back of my mind that maybe they were lying though!
I thought they just could have said yes or no over the phone as well, so hopefully it doesn't mean that there is something wrong...guess I'll just have to wait it out!

a positive is a positive! congratulations! and stop worrying - your dr probably wants to give you more in depth advise than just say yes or no over the phone. Sometimes dr's don't really understand how a 24hr can wreak havoc on our minds.
She will prob want to do standard test like check your immunity (rubella/chickenpox), advise on taking folic acid etc. and do blood tests to confirm preg officially.

Congratulations again and I think you should celebrate hun. Goodluck telling your folks.

Where I go they wont give you the result over the phone regardless of the result.

my results were due to be back on a friday, and was told i could be given an answer over the phone, then the nurse told me , the doc wanted to see me, i was like noo i dont wanna wait til monday lol thats ages away, but the lovely receptionst lady got me an appt that day and the answer was Yes, im preg. He just wanted to discuss things, print out blood referals, and ultrasound referals too.
Hope this is what your doc is calling you in for
