Hi all- I'm 24years old- long term TTC

I'm new to this, but whenever I google IVF/FET related subjects I always get directed to this site, so i thought i'd get involved a bit more.
My hubby and I have been TTC for 3 1/2 years now, which to a lot of people seems strange as i'm only 24. The wosrt thing I am CONSTANTLY told is "Oh, but you're so young- you've got plenty of time to have a baby." I HATE this!!
3 years on and we've tried a lot. I did 4 cycles of clomid with tracking, had 2 operations, 1 miscarriage (we fell naturally whilst waiting for the op to unblock my tubes, but unfortunatley lost it at just over 6 weeks). This year though has been the most full on! Started AIH in jan, but got overstimulated and had to cancel the cycle, then 4 failed AIH cycles, a round of IVF (unfortunately I was sick with a cold at the time which was going to my chest, but i refused to cancel the egg collection-so ended up staying overnight to have antiobiotics-but hey, we collected 10 eggs so it was definatley worth it!), and we're about 3/4 the way through our 1st FET, with 2 healthy looking embryo's transferred in on monday just gone.
I had cramping with each AIH and the IVF embryo transfer, but normally only the day the transfer is done. Now, 5 days on, I'm still cramping and don't even let me get started bout the funny bowel movements(I've been told that is to do with the prog pessaries I'm doing).
Has anyone else had cramps this long before? And what was the final outcome?
I'm trying to stay positive, but the more positve I get, the harder the fall when the tests come back negative!

Hello and welcome to bb! Sounds like you have had a tough road up to this point so hope that everything goes well for you in the TWW (two week wait) and that you some good news soon!

Unfortunatly pessaries do strange things to our bodies - so the cramping could be a side effect or it could be an embie snuggling in - i dont think that there is any way of really knowing - but i hope that it is one or more just letting you know that they are there!

Wishing you all the best. In the LTTTC area you will find a TWW thread - you may want to jump in there and join the others who are waiting to test - it is a great place for support during this difficult and stressful time. https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...v-08-a-14.html

Good luck and sending you lots of sticky vibes!

Thanks! I will check out the TWW thread.
It can be hard to talk to my GF's about IVF etc as they are not TTC, so it's good to know there are so many helpful ppl on BB!

Congrats on your pregnancy- was just reading some of your blogs. The one about your mum made me laugh, only cause my mum is scarily similar!

hi c2w, just saw your post. Im 22 and have been TTC for over 2 years and am onto ART cycle #7. I can definitely understand what you mean about the comments, I constantly get asked why we are doing IVF when we have 'ages' to fall naturally, we are 'so young'. Not much consolation huh when you cant fall pregnant naturally.

    When is your beta?

    Hi BecD!
I'm glad I'm not the only younger TTC lady that is getting the same comment. When people say it to us, our general reply is- We want a baby and it's not working the natural way, so this is our only option.
Good luck for your cycle. When is your test? We found out monday that we are FINALLY pregnant. My levels were O- 4500, P-200 and HCG-160. We had a test thurs to make sure everything was ok. My HCG was up to 460 and prog still 200.
