Hi im new around here. my name is Peta and i have 2 and a bit yr old little girl, alex. Alex is pretty complex, she has mulitple medical issues, and also alot of developmental delays.

Coarctation of the aorta
laryngotracheabronchialmalacia
GORD
PEG fed
unknown gut issues
glue ear
obstructive sleep apnea
dyspraxia
hypotonia
ataxia
GDD
failure to thrive
small stature
no speech
poor vision
oral aversion

and im sure theres more but thats off the top of my head.
shes yet to be given a proper diagnoses, we know shes got a syndrome of some sort but its just finding it thats proving to be hard.
Alex is due for 3 more operations (shes already had more than i can remember) in december at the childrens hospy in brissy.
im hoping to find someone on here with a similar situation..??

Hello and welcome! Thats a lot to handle. There are a few around with multiple issues here. My DD1 had sleep issues, multiple ear infections/glue ear, Failure to thrive, and GORD as a baby. She's 4 now, but hasn't had any operations yet. She was found at 3 to have a cows milk allergy which stopped most of those symptoms! Crazy I know. We had been attending the behavioural developmental department at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane for assessments for the autistic spectrum. They were amazing there. We've moved recently but they were so good there. Goodluck!
