2 year old bed dramas

Hi, Ds 2 yrs, has been in a big boy bed for about 2mnths .. he was going so good, until we bought home new baby a mnth ago.. now each bed time is a drama. WE do everything like the super nany suggests and more. read book, hav elied on bed, have sat at door, no eye contact, no speaking, but he can get up about 20 times, and each time just laugh at us.. it is takeing at least 1 half hrs each night to get into bed- so some nights it is after 9pm, then he is up at 5.30 am, bed time dramas for during the day are a write off at the moment, so i have a very cranky toddler most days.. i am at my wits end. and its sad.. i dont know what to do, I think it is cos he is jealous of the newborn, but we are making him feel so loved etc, so he doesnt need to be

Anyone have any suggestions.. we have even closed his door some nights.. but he still wont sleep

we have been through this so you have my sympathy! We ended up on the advice of one of the sleep schools telling her she had 1 chance and if she came out of her room the door would be shut. Its conrolled crying applied to bedtime I guess so no everyone's cup of tea but we had tried EVERYTHING else! We did the 2 mins the 4 mins the 6 mins...up o 10 minute blocks. It took2 nights and we have no had any problems since but like I said its not for everyone and I kow BB doesnt like CC (sorry!) but you sound quite desperate.
