brauers Children's Cough Relief

has anyone used this before with any success?
DD has a cough which is stopping her sleeping and was wondering how good this was.
i dont want to get a cough supressant as such, just something to help sooth the cough IYKWIM.

I haven't used the Brauer's but when DD had a cough, the doctor suggested Prospan which is ivy leaf (all natural). It's not a suppressant - more of an expectorant to help them get it up. He also mentioned that it can have a similar effect to Ventolin in helping to open airways. In our case, I think that it did soothe a little. The dose is quite small and it's not horrible tasting. You can get it at chemists.
