    Pain down there!!!!

Hi all I am 24 weeks preggers and every time I got to the toilet I fell immense pressure downstairs so much so that it hurts, it feels like bubba is pushing down on me and it's really uncomfortable, I have another clinic app tomorrow but I was just wondering if anyone else has felt this sensation?
    TIA

Yeah I get that, but it goes away as soon as I've relieved myself! I think it's just the body's way (and bub's) of telling you to go to the toilet as there's not much room left in there!

But definitely ask about it tomorrow at your appointment and let us know if it could mean something else.

Could it be hemroids? Which i have heard are very common with pregnant women?

HollyM mine doesn't go away after I have peed, it still feels the same that's why I am a bit concerned, but like you said I will just ask tomorrow and keep you posted in case it is something else

I had a similar thing with DD, it didn't go away until she was born for me. My GP and Ob just said it was part of the pg and was pressure from bubs. Hasn't happened this time aorund, hope you can get it sorted it is uncomfortable.

Thanks Blackrose, I am the opposite to you I didn't have it first time round but am having it now, hopefully it is just normal, although I did come home from work today early cause of some bad cramping but I will just rest up and wait for my app tomorrow.

Brianna, I have noticed this too in the last few days. I really only notice it when I am standing or walking. Don't notice it when I am sitting. It's just like you describe...pressure, but mine is a bit more on the left side. At first I thought it was just a full bladder, but it's definitely not that as going to the toilet makes no difference to the amount of pressure I feel.

    Hi there,

I've had the pressure too, but if it's painful when you do a wee, it might be worth getting checked for a urinary tract infection.
