I have been using the Phil & Ted pram with a double kits for a while now for my DS (11 months) + my friend's little girl (2 years). It drives me crazy!! The heavier child is supposed to go in the front position, and the lighter child in the back. But, the lighter child cannot stay in the back postion unless the heavier child is in the front at the same time.
So, when we go to the shops & I put the 2 year old on the equipment, DS cannot stay in the pram. Or, if DS falls asleep in the back, I cannot get the 2 year old out of the front until he wakes up.
Has anyone else had trouble with their P&T? What did you do?
Oh wow I have never thought of that being an issue yet because James is in the main section and we take Izzy out of it all the time. If the two are only a few kgs different I would just put them in where you like, I would imagine it would be a huge issue if they are 10 kgs apart but if it's only 4-5 kgs surely it would be ok?? Hopefully someone with a clue will be in soon!
If DD2 is asleep in the back (12kgs) and DD1 (17kgs) is in the front and gets out I just hold onto the pram the whole time and put my backpack nappy bag in the front, I haven't had a problem with that.
I do have DD2 in the front as well and DD1 in the back and the pram doesn't feel like its going to tip, it means DD1 can get out whenever she wants.
