DS started crawling a week ago and is waking more during the night...what's going on?
Jack (DS) has FINALLY started crawling at the age of 11 months last Friday and has since had terrible nights. He wakes at least 2 or 3 times a night even after having a normal dinner, bottle or BF. He has plenty of water as well and nothing else has changed.
Last night we let him yell it out the second time he woke (and it's not crying...he's just yelling) but then the third time DH got up and brought him in for a BF. He had a half hearted suck and then fell asleep (that was just before 5am) so I took him back to bed at 5am and he slept until we got up at 7.
Does anyone have any ideas what's going on? Is it part of this new developmental stage?
I dont have any answers for you but my DD has just started walking (finally) and is doing the same thing so I hope from this we can both find answers!!
I find when DS learns a new 'major' skill like crawling, sitting, lots of words or something like that he is more wakeful. e.g. when he 1st learned to clap he clapped in his sleep!!! it settles down after a while....
Its just starting to settle here too after learning to crawl and cruise in the space of a week of each outher, its been about 6 weeks, sorry i know thats not really what you wanted to hear, but maybe it will be better for you
