My first born is officially taller than me

My DS13 is now a good inch taller than me. It makes me sad to think my little boy is growing up but at the same time I'm proud of the young man he is turning into. We now have to go clothes shopping in the mens section cos size 14 is just too small for him. He wears a size 10 mens shoe, I just wonder when he did all this growing up .

    Regards,
    Dianne

It's both a little sad and exciting at the same time isn't it!

The way my 7yo is growing it won't be long before he is bigger than me too.

aw, they grow up so fast don't they

Yasin is tall and I'm short so I think I'll meet that milestone relatively early.

It must be a weird feeling. I'm pretty sure both my boys will be taller than me, so I guess I'd better get used to the idea. It's amazing how quickly the time goes, isn't it?

I'm almost there, my older girls aren't too far off being as tall as me and they're only 10 and 11. And they both have bigger feet than me already!!! I'm a ladies 7, DD10 is a ladies 8 and DD11 is a 9!!!!

Hey Di I know exactly where you're at. My DD is now nearly 5'10 and she is only 13. Poor me is only 5'5. She leans on my head now : (

I'm 5'7" - my eldest dd is six foot! She's been towering over me for years now. It's been quite funny at times. My dd2 is 5'11, my 11 yo is about 5'5" so I suspect she's going to be quite tall, too. I think eventually I am going to be the shortest in the family!!

It's lovely watching them grow into these big people... hard on the wallet though

Aww what a huge milestone. I am the same as Raven my first born is only 7 years old, but with me only being 5' 2" it wont be long and we'll be looking at each other eye to eye LOL
