The boys will still be getting up at 6am so my plan is to be in bed by 10.30.
I'll be staying in Northern NSW with my family so if they are celebrating I shall encourage them to do so outside the home so that my beauty sleep is not disturbed
Camping with friends - looking forward to seeing the New Year in with a glass of wine (so expressing this week to get a stock up JIC im unwell the next day ) under the stars.
Doubtful that there will be much beauty sleep - bloody birds why cant they whisper their dawn chorus!!!
lol we have no plans as yet.
We really wanted to go camping at my parents property out west but everyone is either going away or partying (not suitable for us lol).. and DH doesnt want to just go with us as i will be asleep by 9! lol... and he will be by himself with a bonfire and all ther goes boo in the night..
I don't know yet, but if it's anything like our other NYEs since DS1 arrived, it will be quiet. DH might want to go out but I doubt I'll be up for it. Last year was a really special one for me though, DS2 woke for a feed and we actually saw the New Year in with him bfing. That's not something that happens every day!
This will be our first NYE in Sydney, so I am trying to find something fun to do with the kids. Perhaps Manly fireworks at 9pm, maybe find somewhere in the north where we can see the Harbour display. I have no idea where is good (that's a whole other thread I guess).
Euan's a night owl anyway so we might take him to see the fireworks. DP's working till late, so we may end up just having a quiet one at home. Or there'll probably be a friend's BBQ that we can pop into.
Last year we all managed to see in the New Years - Euan was four weeks old and was asleep about 10 minutes after midnight.
