Exclamation Who has a dyson? And which model please?

Hey guys, I don't know much about Dyson's...apart from the fact that I need one now!!!

There are 2 for sale at Harvey Norman for only $398 each! Thats good according to ebay!

One is the upright DC14Y and the other is the barrel type DC19Y

Does anyone have these? Please tell me these are good models?? please!

we have the DC19, works really, really well, and is very heavy to lug around.
I would get an upright over a barrel any day.

Uprights done feel as heavy becuase your not using your back as much - the barrel hurt my back to use.
BArrel style are generally easier to get in to places becuase of the hose, but then I've not used the dyson upright, just avery other vaccuum we're ever had was upright and I like them more.

Mabello, we just bought the DC19 at Hardly Normal for that price. We'll be paying another $100 to add the turbine head (which beats/brushes the floor - good for pet hair etc). Happy with my purchase and didn't even consider the upright because I've never had one and don't know the difference! LOL Haven't tested it out yet though because we're not at home at the moment.
