HAs anyone been there recently? I understand that they no longer do controlled crying, you stay with your baby and SHHH and pat. I am not sure what they do for an older baby though.
I have reached the point where I need to go there. Every time I think it is improving it gets worse. I am often still up 2 hourly overnight, sometimes more often. DH helps where he can but he has a demanding job and he is exhausted too. WE are both stressed to the max and incredibly frustrated. I am also always so grumpy and tired from interrupted sleep. I start back at work on Tuesday and the way I am at the moment my brain is barely able to function.
Any positive stories or feedback in general from Torrens house would be appreciated, if it did/didn't work and how long ago you were there and what methods they used.
Thanks

i tried getting in when dd was about 8 months..i never got the call..
so even if your just thinking about it get a referal now as they only take 1 baby over 6 months at a time.
a gf went there for b/fing issues and she said it was great.
dd finally slept through at 10 months but only a couple times a week now she wakes 1/2 times a night.
A friend of mine went in there a few months back as she was having trouble getting her little one to sleep (and her other DS got a case of the jealous bug big time and was making life almost impossible for her)...
I'm not sure if she got a refferal (her little one was under 6 mths) - but she did get in, and was there for about one week.
