Can you ovulate on CD25? If so how long do I have to DTD?
I have only had two visits from AF since DD's birth, my last cycle was 44 days, I am now on day 25 of this cycle and have just been to the toilet and have EWCM (I have never noticed them to be so much like egg whites before) is it possible that I could be ovulating now? We had taken this month off of TTC (and therefore not BD) as we have all had the flu really bad, however if I am just ovulating now, I am happy to try, my DF is in bed though as he has a 3am start in the morning and I don't want to wake him, can I afford to wait until he gets home from work tomorrow?
I think that since you do have such long cycles that you could O on CD25. Depending on how long you have EW, once the egg has been released I sure you have between 12-24hrs, so you might be right to wait until DF gets home, but make sure you jump him as soon as he does, lol.
Hi DaintreeDream. You can ovulate on day 25. I had a 38 day cycle last month and ovulated on day 25. Blood tests confirmed it. Like Amanda said and from what I know, EWCM can start before ovulation. Good luck!
I normally have 35 day cycles and I ovulate later in the cycle but with the last AF in September, I think I ovulated around Day 21 so I don't see why it wouldn't happen later if your cycle is later. We only BD on the day I thought I was ovulating and voila! - pregnant.
Absolutely you can ovulate on cd25 - absolutely! Your fertile window is usaually slammmed shut when the egg white mucous stops - it would be my suggestion to wake him & get jiggy with it! Otherwise first up in the morning...
