HELP! Urgent clothing size advice needed..

    hey girls..

Mia is getting christened on the 8th Feb. She was 3520 grams born (7lb 12oz) she has just now in the past week gone into 000's tho 40% of her clothes are still 0000's. On the 8th Feb she will be coming up for 4 months old. So.. me being the slacker that i am i havent even found a christening dress.. but then it had me thinking.. will she still be 000's or will she be 00? shes putting on around 200 grams a week which would make her about 5.4 kilos atm.

so what do you girls think?

With dresses you can get away with them being a bit bigger/smaller etc hun. I would tend to look at how it fits her now when you find one and see if it's a bit big now then it will be fine in a few weeks time. Good luck finding something!

If you get a dress, then 00 should be fine. If you are getting a fitted romper type thing.. maybe wait a few more weeks?

I would go 00 then. You could always pin it if its a bit big?

There are so many different types for girls.I really hope I Have a girl so i can choose a gorgeous satin dress!

It depends what you prefer? Do you have any family traditions? If not, I would go for a gorgeous short dress and stunning little shoes!

hi there hollye, Tara was 4 1/2 months when she got christened a week before Xmas, we bought her a dress size 0 as I wanted it to be longer, it had just shoe string straps and I bought a pretty t-shirt under it with sequins on it, happy to email you a pic so you can see Tara in her dress justpm me.

HOllye - they seem to stay in 000 and 00for ages.

Ashley was 4 months also and as you know was little. But i bought a 00 dress. It was a little big but it didnt seem to matter at the baptism. (lol she wore it a few months ago at 16 month lol!!!!)...

So perhaps a 000 or 00 depending on the style. also she will be carryed a lot so you can tuck the back in as you hold her for photos if you need to

Both my girls were the same size born as your DD and we had them christened at 5 months old. Their dress was a 00. DD2 is 13 months and is wearing 0 now.
