We are looking at selling our house on the sth side and moving to the nth side!
For me this is a big move as i have always lived on the sth side around the Mt Ommaney/Centenary area.
DH is from the nth side so it really dosent bother him, and his family is on the nth, mine is on the sth and so are all our friends! well the majority are!
I was just wondering has anyone made the move from Sth to Nth?
Did they like or regret the move?
Is the nth side really any good? (i hate the traffic - i think its much worse)
At this stage we are looking at a few houses in the Ferny Grove area - can anyone recommend this area?
hj - sorry i hadnt seen tthis thread earlier - im in ferny grove and we love it! although we are right near the train station so sometimes its noisy and there are cars everywhere... but its lovely!

Harmony...well i'd have to say the southside for obvious reasons (i live on southside) but at the end of the day you might find your perfect house somewhere on the northside but dont want to move there purely because it is on the northside...so you'd have to work out if having your dream home is more important then living on the southside...does that make sense?
sneaky - the house we were looking at at ferny grove is undercontract now!
But looks like i will be staying on the sth side - we have put a contract on a house at forest lake - but its still not unconditional until our house sells - so ANYthing can still happen!
