Phil & Ted E3 with toddler seat - help please

Hi all,

We have just purchased the toddler seat to go with our pram and I am a bit put off by it. When DS is in the toddler seat on top, we can't pull the sun shade over him without it touching his head! He is of average height for his age (21m).This also means that the shade or rain cover when required will just annoy him....

I went into the store to check I had everything on correctly but they only had the sport which was released after we bought this ( and the sun shade is a different shape ie. higher at the top so did not touch his head ).

Has anyone else come across this or have any ideas?

My sister has this problem with her Phil and Teds, her DS is too tall so they can't use the sunshade until bub no.2 is old enough to sit up and have the seats both upright. Such a bummer....
