Heartbeat at 5w5d

Ok so today I noticed spotting and of course went into panic station mode . With having the MC in July I immediately started crying and thought the worse!! Thankfully I have a fantastic Dr and he rang the scan place and managed to get me in to be seen .

Anyways, at the moment all is OK . Baby's heartbeat was just seen and beating at 94bpm . Which I was totally not expecting to be able to see.
The sonographer (sp?) also told us the sac was measuring at 5w4d (a day behind my LMP) but the fetus was measuring at 5w6d (a day ahead). Now I know there is room for +/-4 days, so Im not too concerned about that but what I want to know is, is Baby's Heartbeat in a normal range?? And also, does any know what the chances of MC is after seeing a heartbeat??

in the early weeks, there is always a chance of things happening - but after HB is detected and you hit around 8 weeks, it is a much reduced chance

as to heartbeat - i had a scan where bub was measuring 5w3d and heart beat at 99bpm which i was told was totally normal. it keeps climbing until it peaks between weeks 7 and 9 and after that it goes to the state we know as "normal" (being around 120-180 bpm)

yep thats all normal. Seeming the heart has only just begun beating it is at this rate for a little while and will get higher in a couple weeks. Great result! congrats!
