YAY for the new thread! Thanks Gargy!

Hi to everyone in here. I hope you all survived the hot weather!

AFM, FS just called tonight to discuss our last failed cycle, he said he is pleased to see the improvement from D3 to D5 but yet not completely happy on the embyros performance on Day 3. So he thinks he might change my stimulate plan when I am ready to do another stim cycle, given that I have been on Lucrin for the last 3 stim cycles. I am not sure what meds he is going to change but kind of glad that he picked up something that I haven't thought about and willing to tweak the plan to make it work.

Regarding next step, he said we can either do FET next since we still have 1 blasties, or we can do another stim cycle straight away, all depends on how many children we plan to have. If I plan to have more than 1, he would suggest to have stim cycle straight away, so at least we have frozen embies for No.2. Very interesting theory but does make sense and I like his confidence too...

Afterwards, DH & I had a discussion, of course we would love to have more than one child but we think it will be too greedy and too far away to even think of anything until we achieve the very first goal - to have our very first baby in our arms. So we decide to go with FET and hope this is it and worry about No.2 next year!

Hope, from sig seems you are starting in Feb too, so hopefully will be cycle buddies.

Hi to Loula, Smithy, melbel, wouldloveabubba, this thread is getting really warm and busy now and I hope 2009 will have lots of good news instore!

Loula : Wow you have a busy day today, I am back to work on Monday as well, the days are flying.. I dont like the Synarel at all, if I need it again, I would rather use the once a day injection, I sneezed ten minutes after, started my injections today, I still have faint bruise marks from my last injections last year, the size of a 50c piece, so I am hoping I dont bruise up this time.

Morning to everyone - I better go and pack the christmas decorations up ...

Ah, someone has been burning midnight oil...you two are so fuuny ....

i hope the embies TF is sorted out today Loula and seems you are going to have a busy busy day today! I am going to back work next Monday, so not looking forward to that. But again I start to feel the pinch in my pocket so its a good thing on the other hand...

I was curious that what FS might suggest other protocol on my stim cycle, he did mention lucirn sometimes could suppress too much hence not responding well, he might change to other drugs. So it could be just a flare cycle without down-regulation. I hope I don't have to use the sniffle stuff - Synarel, much prefer the injection. I guess I will find out the details when I am ready to start. Would be lovely to have you as Feb cycle buddy.

Good luck with the injection WLAB, no bruise please!

Mel, apart from watching Loula taking her pills and spank her, what else you are busy doing? where are you at in the cycle?

Cuddliepie ? yes starting Feb. We have our appointment January 21 with FS and then AF is due early Feb so assume we will start down regulation soon after. So could very well be cycle buddies ? that?ll will be good.
I like it when the FS is confident in his plans, it make you feel more confident too.
Was going to ask you whats the injection you take instead of synarel? Are the side effects less?

WLAB ? all the best with your cycle. Hope synarel is kind to you.

Lou - how is your day going sounds like it was going to be full on. Did you call the clinics...what did they say about your little friends in the freezer?

MMM packing up xmas decs. I love taking them out and then feel a bit sad when go away for another year. I luv a good xmas decoration and its such a long wait till they come out again...

    Hi Ladies!

Yes all sorted just as i thought loose ends not tied up with the paperwork! Few! Embies ready for take off lol

Just got back from a lovely lunch with my SIL (one of 5!) spent some time with her new bundle of joy which was nice although always get a tear in my eye as my last MC would be the same age!

Off to get X- ray soon!

CP ? burning the midnight oil alright! Can?t sleep at the moment, too many things going around my head! Back to work tomorrow (yes Friday!)
Maybe your FS will recommend an antagonist cycle ? they seem to be all the go at the moment and NO DOWN REG! gotta love that. I think with a Flare cycle you still have the synarel, just no pill.

It?s going to be so hard going back to work after 8 weeks off! Aaahh but at the same time I cant wait.!

Loula, glad all sorted now! I reckon the best day to go back to work is Friday, at least you have weekend to look forward to and one day per week is just kind of warm-up I need. Im back to work next Monday after 3 and half weeks break, its hard enough I can tell you...

My last 3 stim cycles were all started with Lucrin, down regulated from Day 21 and then all the way together with Puregon. So all these other options ie. Flare cycle, antagonist cycle and syneral are so new to me, so have to pardon my ignorance on these. Never been on pill before...

Hope, the injection I have been on was Lucrin and FSH is Puregon. I am not too sure about Syneral as never been on that before.

I like the idea not to down regulate, at least make the treatment plan/cycle shorter...

Oh well, we will see how we go with this Feb FET and then decide what protocol to use for stim cycle. I truely hope that I don't need it...

The options are all very interesting.
I've only ever done the same meds for stim cycle.

It is a very long cycle with the down reg. Then synarel then puregon then the crinone....and we wont mentiont the dreaded two week wait.

I'm very interested to ask FS if there are other options for me in regards to down reg.....
