NEW Steelcraft Strider DLX Stroller - any reviews yet

    Hi guys,
I have just found out about the new Steelcraft Strider DLX Stroller and it comes in a great new colour Kingfisher (blue). There is a thread on here from October briefly speaking about it's release but I'd like to know more and if anyone has purchased it and what their thoughts/reviews are.

    Thanks
    De

    Question

Hi, just thought I would jump in and ask the question what is the difference between the strider 4 and the strider DLX?

I have worked out that the DLX takes the capsual/bassinet/recline seat while the 4 just has the bassinet/recline seat - but are there any other differences esp ones that make one more user friendly over the other. It seems from the web that there might be a bit of difference in the wheels, but I'm not really sure.

    Any advice or comments?
    Thanks
    FG

i can't compare the two sorry FG - but can say the dlx is very easy to use - i assembled, played, and completely disassembled damn easily! was impressed!

i think it looks fantastic, is easy to use (when you weork out where the bits and bobs are!) - love it!

    and sooo purddy!

haven't taken it on the road or anything yet though, so won't comment on how it handles - but inside (in a really crowded room - worse than a shop really) it was great! very small turning circle!

as for different to strider 4 I cant compare it either cause I've not looked at that one sorry! I know the wheels come off the strider delux if u need to and they're easy to get on/off

I can't wait for mine to get here!

The main differences I could see with the Strider 4 ...dlx includes the foot muff, rain cover and shade cover where you have to buy them separately for the str 4...and the material on the dlx is a little bit better quality. Dlx also gives you the option of the capsule for the car which the str 4 doesn't offer. Both have a bassinett option. Can't think of anything else at the moment....too HOT here to think

hehe hope it arrives soon Ellie!
The toffee is very nice, but yeah we were so in love with the kingfisher colour we had to get it hehe! our car is 'morning dew' - basically a pale silvery green, but the inside is grey so it'll go nicely

    Hi,

We're looking at the Strider DLX as well. I'm due in June and like the fact that you can reverse the stroller to face you as well as it comes with the carrier. Have been looking at the Mountain Buggy as well but I think we'll go for the Strider.

However, I cant find any reviews of it being so new so would really appreciate if any of you girls are able to give us some feedback. We're also very unsure if we should go for the kingfisher or the toffee colour. We've been told that we're expecting a boy but you're never sure and I would like to buy a pram that we can use for the next one if it is a girl (probably 3-4 years down the track though). Do you think the kingfisher colour goes well for a girl?

Looking forward to hear your opinions girls.

    Thanks,

    Mokka

we haven't had a chance to use the pram (not due til May) but have to say i'm loving it already. it's easy to use, it seems well padded, can be completely disassembled in minutes for storage (we set it up then put it back in the box very easily for storage.

i got the toffee color - like the kingfisher, but even before we knew our bundle was pink, we looked at what we would get long term use out of. i'm not really a "bright colors" person and just loved the toffee. managed to fluke a nappy bag that is almost the same color too!
