    Difficulty urinating during 3rd trimester

    Hello BellyBelly community!

I am having trouble urinating. I have the feeling that i am super full... I go to the toilet and push but only trickles come out NOT a normal flow. Has anyone else has this experience? Should I go to doctor is this normal?

    Thanks guys

This is quite common. The position of the baby in your uterus can block the ureter. Try leaning all the way forward and see if that helps. It can also help sometimes to try and adjust the baby's position by moving your tummy with your hand.

I always found that if I rocked back and forth on the toilet seat or leant right back for a few seconds, that it would help me to urinate in late pg.

I had to do this. It felt like my bladder was squished between the bub and my pubic bone. Lift your belly up a bit and see if it helps.

It could be a UTI also. Best to get it checked asap
