    PMS linked to Miscarriage

    Hello,

Does any-one else who has miscarried suffer with PMS?

I start getting period pain 7-9 days before my period is due!

No-one that I know has experienced this and my Dr said she has never heard of it either.

It feels to me that my lining is coming away to early, which would support the fact I have had 2 miscarriages and struggle to conceive.

Bizarrely, all my hormone checks came back within normal range and I have a 13-14 day LP.

Does this story sound similar to any-one?X

    Hey!
I had a miscarrage the day my period was due. I started getting the pains and having reallllllly stroppy mood swings. There might just be a link, im unsure. Wouldnt suprise me. The cramps are its way of getting the gunk out of the uterus so maybe! You might be onto something. Will be interesting to find out. I'll have a look around for information.
I have had my periods since i was 9. I get really bad pains where all i can go is curl up in bed and cry and my moods, god seriously bad. I get the mood swings then the pain. The pain starts between 1 and 2 weeks before i bleed the carries on all the way through then for a few days after. Ive been to a gyno and tried all sorts of pills for it and still cant find a reason for it.
Sorry about your loss'. Its isnt easy! I hope you and your partner are getting through it!

So sorry and wish I could be of more help

    Hi Shel30

I am so sorry that you have been through such losses - there is such a lot of grief that comes with losing our bubs - I have the reverse - I had been blessed with very straightforward periods but after my miscarriage they become much more complicated with a lot more PMT and other joyous physical symptoms but they seem to be easing over time. The pain so long before the actual period is a really interesting one. Is there any possibility of endo, fibroids or cysts being involved in any way???

I hope and that you can find some answers that ease your situation and help you towards TTC and hooking those we all hope for.

    Much love

I'm trying to think back to when I was a similar age to you. I have had different trends with PMS over the years. At around your age I used to get heavy AF's & feel very drained & had bad some strong pain as well. I think the pain was only when I had AF though. As I got older I didn't get much pain, had shorter, lighter AF's, much easier all round except the mood swings got nasty.

I had all sorts of investigations over the years as I had a lot of trouble conceiving but nothing was ever found to be wrong with me. For me it just seemed to be a case of waiting til the right bub came along & managed to stick. I wish you the best of luck for the future.

Thank-you so much for the replies and good wishes!

It's nice to know I'm not alone although it doesn't seem to be a common problem.

Like Kat and Satya I have had all the tests done and they can find nothing.

It reassures me to see that most of us here get there in the end, even though we don't get any answers.

Let me know if you find any-thing out Kat!
