Discharge colour

Hey everyone,

The last few days, I have been having darker yellow discharge, not a lot but definately not what I used to get. I don't think its really got brown (or blood) in it just a darker shade of yellow is the bext way I can explain.

Just wandering if this could be my waters leaking or if its normal..? Its also been awful smelly down there in the last week and half or so as well, so thinking it could also be a yeast infection...even though is not itchy

I have an OB appointment tomorrow to get it checked out but was curious to see what you guys thought..

Thanks, I appreciate this is a bit of TMI but if we cant ask our BB buds, then who can we ask?

i would say if there is a smell and colour then it could definately be an infection of some kind. on the other hand i have been having a similar issue (minus the odour though) had a swab done and it was normal. so best bet is to see what your doctor says. btw, you can have thrush without any itching too.

i doubt that it would be your waters though, cause they would be clear (or greenish if the bub has been under stress) and the consistency would be more watery than the thickness of discharge.

I read recently some women can slowly lose some of their waters over 2-3 weeks before labour and only tiny amounts so it just is basically an increase in discharge/fluid.
But it may or may not be this.

I've noticed an increase in discharge and going through more liners/undies lately too but it's clear stuff with no colour in it.

Got a swab done and waiting on results, doc said that naked eye wise, nothing seemed wrong.
Will let you know how I go once I get the results
