Question Period Like Pain & Backache.......

    Soooooo .....

I've been feeling a bit strange the last 2 days or s.
Lots of BH and yesterday just started feeling dizzy and nauseous for about an hour for no reason and also yesterday I felt something move and start to press down low in my vag almost making me feel like I was going to lose control of my bladder every now and again ..... kind of like a fist pushing downwards.....

Last night had a lot of BH and didn't sleep vey much and sometime early this morning about 4am onwards I've started getting back ache that comes and goes and also really low down in my abdomen it's almost like period pain which also comes and goes ... painful enough to wake me out of dozing but I have to admit I haven't been timing them or anything.

I'm pretty sure that it isn't D day yet - he'd be pretty early....

    What do you think???

    TIA everyone

Dee, it sounds like bubs has definitely moved down into position. With the back ache and period type pains... this could be prelabour which can last for a while with some people. It is a little early but not impossible either. I'd probably call your hospital or ob/midwife and get checked to see what they think.

Yeah, check your blood pressure maybe?

Have you been overdoing it a bit?

    HI Guys,

I was gonna wait and see if anything else happens before calling them.... I know that when the little guy engages it can be uncomfortable?!?!?!

Luce, I've been pretty chilled for the last couple of days but am marshalling troops for a major house cleaning at the moment because in the last 3 hours the place has started making my skin crawl......

Thanks babe. Trying to con my mum into it *smacks self in head* as she has done it professionally on and off for the last few years but she couldn't even organise a root in a brothel so I am starting to wonder if I am insane ....LOL

Hi doubledee, it sounds like me at 35 weeks! I was getting back pain, BH and shooting pain in my cervix (as it thinned) from around 35 weeks also. I went into labour at 38 +2, so don't worry too much. It just means your body is gearing up for the big event.

Are you doing a lot of exercise at the moment? I always found exercise brought it on a lot more intensely.

If you're worried it always pays to tell your caregiver...

Period pain and back ache is usually pre labour signs. I've been getting them daily the last few days! Just your body preparing..... exciting!!

I find the pains come on more strongly when I've been doing too much so i sit down a bit and they do feel better.

If unsure though make sure you check with your MW/OB.

    Thanks everyone!

I pretty much thought this might be the start of pre labour so I'll just chill out and see where it takes me and just stick to warm baths and heat packs for the discomfort.....

Hmmmm..... looks like this little guy really is going to come out
