mirena and d&c...help??!!

hi all,
i really need some advice...i had a d&c,camera and iud fitted on fri (9/1/09) they also took some biopsys.
im wondering whether the pain should be getting worse ...its bad im on morphine as it is and im still struggling. how long does it take for the pain to ease?? the bleeding slowed down but its starting again and the pains going ito my back.
sorry if i dont make much sense.

I'm not sure hun. The pain from the mirena only lasted a few hours for me, but I had a D&C a long time ago and I remember being in pain for a few days from that. If it lasts longer than a week I would talk to your doctor. As for the bleeding, that could last a few weeks after having the mirena put it - and it can be start stop also. But if you are at all worried, talk to your doctor, peace of mind is really important.

thanks mr. i think the thing thats worrying me most is that im not getting much relief.
im going to go to my gp tomorrow...if the morphine isnt helping then thats not great.
i hate being a woman!! lol.
